Curriculum Details :
Nalanda’s Gurukul have Pre-Primary , Primary and Middle School section with classes from Std I-VII. School follows CBSE Curriculum.
It is a blend of Values, Tradition and Technology. Motivation and developing confidence is an integral part of school philosophy as it’s the bedrock for the development of enquiring minds. Our curriculum in the Primary Section has been designed keeping the vision of the school in mind. Our teaching learning pedagogy is a unique blend of scholastic, co-scholastic and life-skills. Our focus completely lies on the development of skills and concepts in each subject and further application of those in real life.
Teaching Methodology :
Pre Primary
The curriculum for Pre-Primary is informal and is done through play way method using specially designed teaching aids. Many creative activities are designed and followed by teachers to develop Gross motor, Social, Emotional and cognitive Skills of Students thus making them Self Reliant.
Primary
Teaching is cutomized to the needs of students by involving them in Role plays , dramatization, Class and group discussion, Individual and group projects and assignments. Teaching done through audio visual aids make the class more interactive. Class soft boards are decorated with various information from and beyond text book. Students have language option from Std VI wherein they can learn either German or Sanskrit. Bal Sabha and exhibition also promote students contribution and participation making them more expressive , confident and social.
